I would start looking at your video card because this is your 2nd anno game that you are having problems with. When the game start does it give any errors. The game does not start at all. After click it makes some noise in Hard Disc,but after few seconds it is gone and nothing is started.
I think that I had some problem like this on completely different computer ,on some other game which also uses Tages,like Anno The card is al right and rather new months it was never oveclocked and is fine on many other games.
