I've tried on Windows XP Pro. Both have been unsuccessful. What's your operating system? Are you using the standard cable provided? I've now finished my detailed step by step howto on transferring music and pics between Shine and computer, including synchronising contacts.

Just to emphasise, as you'll see from my new post, you need to make sure you've installed the modem drivers as well as the Sync software, or the software won't work. He used his Cingular sim card from his phone to make sure it was compatible,made a call,everything worked.
