Vs_setup.msi could not be found




















Hi Avesh, Thank you so much YiChen for looking at my post. I googled for the uninstallation process and the error, there are some suggestion to remove some registry entry but I am not able to find the folder name inside the registry, I guess thats probably because I am still on windows SP4.

Visual Studio can be installed on Windows SP4. For uninstalling the product, you also need Administrative privileges. Then try reinstalling VS What's the exact error message?

My account has administrator access yet even with this option selected I'm still getting the following error. Could you check if there are 3rd party anti-virus software enabled or enterprise group policy in place that is restricting you or not? As described in previous post ie:.
